One of the great things about the iPad as many of you very well know by now is its truly beautiful display. Movies look absolutely gorgeous on the display and it has definitely set itself up as a great way to watch other types of video. ABC has decided to take full advantage of the new device and has released an app which gives users complete access to their most popular shows.

The app doesn’t provide every one of their shows to users, but the majority of their content is available with only a few taps of the finger. The videos stream extremely fast and rarely is there a problem.

When the app first came out, it struggled with some crashing issues. But thanks to their feedback option, they were able to push out a fix in only a couple of days and provide an amazing experience. Shows are occasionally interrupted by short commercials very similar to Hulu, but they are always at the appropriate times and don’t really get in the way.

The quality of the video is absolutely stunning with near HD visuals. Users can also view the upcoming schedule of shows so they will never miss an episode. Overall, this app is free and is a awesome addition to the iPad. If only more networks would join in this concept…
